Oriora Speaking Coach
LiveTalk with a coach — in any language you're learning.
Press call and have a real conversation out loud: the coach listens while you talk, replies in the language you're practising, and you can interrupt it any time. Ask it to save a lesson or read a plan back while you're still talking. In the chat it can research a topic and write you a study plan, and keep it in a library on your phone. When you need an exam instead, the IELTS mock (Part 1 → cue card → Part 3, with real timers) and a TOEFL-style interview are still there, with an estimated band range and specific feedback.
What you get
- ✓A live spoken conversation in any language, at your level — interrupt it like a real call, and the next one picks up where the last left off
- ✓The Accent Lab: shadow one consistent model voice, drill the sounds your mother tongue actually struggles with, and get melody-first coaching — with a plan the AI drafts around your goal and a monthly benchmark recording that proves the progress
- ✓Corrections as you go, explained in English when that helps — and you choose how much correcting: soft, balanced, or strict
- ✓Practice scenes when you want them — order at a café, a job interview, directions — pick one or just say it; free talk is always the default
- ✓Ask it mid-call to save a lesson, list what you've saved, or read a plan back
- ✓Research on request, written up as a study plan and kept in your library on this phone
- ✓A full IELTS mock across all three parts, plus a TOEFL-style interview, with an estimated band range and specific feedback on fluency, vocabulary and grammar — pronunciation is left unscored, because scoring it properly needs the audio itself

How it works
Pick your language
Type any language you're learning, then press call.
Just talk
It listens, answers out loud, corrects you, and lets you interrupt — like a real conversation.
Ask it to keep things
Save a lesson or a plan while you talk; it stays on your phone, and goes to your own cloud when you ask.
FAQ
What happens to my voice on a live call?
A live call streams your speech to the AI provider that runs the conversation — that's what makes a real-time back-and-forth possible. Your phone connects to the provider directly; if your network can't reach it, the audio relays through Oriora instead. Either way we don't retain it: no recordings are kept, and the transcript stays on your phone. The mock-exam and Listen & Repeat modes are different — those use your device's own dictation engine, so no audio leaves the phone at all.
Which languages does it speak?
Any language the AI models can hold a conversation in — you type the language you want and it speaks it. There's no fixed list.
Is anything free?
Yes — the Listen & Repeat drills are scored on your device, so you can practise them as much as you like at no cost.
How do I sign in?
With your Oriora account — an emailed code, or Continue with Google, GitHub or Apple. It's the same Oriora sign-in page the website uses, shown inside the app, and one account covers every Oriora app.
How does backup & restore work — iCloud, Google Drive, GitHub?
Your data lives on your device, and you can back the whole collection up to your OWN cloud: connect Google Drive (one tap) or GitHub (a token) once in your Oriora account, and every Oriora app backs up there — restore it on any device. Files need no connection at all: export a backup file and import one back through your phone's own Files picker, where iCloud Drive (and Google Drive, if it's on your phone) simply appear. In the latest app versions the Back-up panel also shows exactly where your backups live and when the last one was saved, and you can just tell the chat "restore my data" — it names the source and asks you to confirm.
AI actions are billed to your Oriora wallet.
